If you start to get some of these symptoms, follow the instructions you've been given to treat a hypo and have a sugary drink or snack, such as such as a small glass of fruit juice or sugary fizzy drink, 5 glucose or dextrose tablets, 4 large jelly babies, or 2 tubes of glucose gel.

Traditional injection molding is typically done in two stages. There’s an injection stage where melted thermoplastic is injected into a mold, and a packing stage where pressure is built and the plastic is formed into the shape of the mold. In structural foam molding, the injection stage is basically the same, but the packing stage is augmented by a chemical blowing agent mixed with the material. That chemical blowing agent is triggered by heat and expands the material by creating a microcellular structure at the core with an integral outer skin.

An additional benefit to parts manufactured using structural foam molding is part durability. As a result of the difference in process, parts built employing structural foam molding are sturdy while remaining rigid, and possess greater internal flexibility than parts built using traditional injection molding.

This is a small sensor you wear on your skin that can show your blood glucose levels at any time. Most types have an alarm, which can wake you up if you get a hypo while you're asleep. You may be able to get a monitor free on the NHS.

Like all medicines, rapid-acting insulin can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. If you do have side effects such as problems where you inject, they usually happen in the first few weeks of starting insulin.

The actual weight savings can vary, but parts built using structural foam molding can be 10% – 30% lighter than other parts.  The integral skin contributes to added strength and the entire process creates parts with low stress.

If you do get these lumps, do not inject in that area until it becomes soft and smooth again. This can take several weeks.
