Spectrum Plastics acquired this business in February 2018, and it has bioresorbable and biocomposite material injection molding technology. The operation was founded in 1983, began clean room molding in 1996, and bioabsorbable material handling and molding in 2006. Spectrum Pittsfield is 45,000 square feet, with a 10,000 square foot tool room and a 4,500 square foot Class 8 clean room. The site is ISO 13485:2016, including its tool room.
