This webinar will include information on mould tools, specifically the choice of material. There will be a section covering which thermoplastics are suited to which applications, including case studies. Design for economy and the environment will also be discussed including the use of bioplastics. The session will be concluded with an overview of common defects and how to overcome them.

The purchase of the Ireland-based company places GW Plastics’ precision mould-building facilities in North America, Asia and Europe. GW Plastics will benefit from Avenue Mould Solutions’ expertise in building ultra-high-cavitation tooling up to 192 cavity moulds for the medical device, diagnostics, and pharmaceutical markets.

Manufacturer GW Plastics has announced it has acquired injection moulding company Avenue Mould Solutions in response to growing customer demand.
