As a lightweight, low-cost, long-lasting thermoplastic polymer, PVC has replaced metal pipe in many applications. PVC injection molding is used for thousands of other products across the world:

Texas Injection Molding follows a simple strategy founded on People, Process and Technology.  Our strategy in encompassed by a culture of respect and genuine concern for others and is the “secret sauce” that makes us different.

The main purpose behind the use of PVC mouldings and trims in the construction industry is to hide small imperfections in the build which could affect the appearance of the walls. PVC mouldings are perfect for use in the exterior surfaces of construction, as it is able to withstand weathering, and is also unlikely to warp or corrode. In order to make the trim joint, you need to cut down the board to make it the perfect section, and then keep the ends together using a biscuit joint. When the trim is ready to be placed on the wall, you need to make sure that you can support the trim while it is settling into place. Use a strong adhesive to secure the trim or moulding to the wall, gently pushing the trim onto the surface of the wall and making sure that you don’t squeeze out too much adhesive. You can then secure the trim in place without the risk of movement or failure to bond.

Available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, SBS Direct has the PVC mouldings and trims to suit your every need. These trims can be used in both the interior and exterior of any construction. In addition, they are extremely flexible making them easy to install.

Mouldings and trims can be used on both interiors and exteriors of construction projects. In the past, these trims and mouldings were commonly made from wood or metal, but plastic, and particularly PVC, is gradually gaining in popularity due to its increased flexibility. It is possible to create plastic mouldings which can be adjusted to fit particular angles and positions in drywalls, and they can also be curved in order to match curved walls or bends in the structure. It is as easy to cut plastic moulding as it is to trim wood, and there is less sanding and grinding required. SBS Direct offers a number of different PVC mouldings and trims for your construction project.
